About the Service

What is the difference between the Design Concept and Joinery Concept packages?
The Design Concept Package reimagines the overall look and feel of any room — layout, colour, furniture, materials, and styling. The Joinery Concept Package focuses specifically on built-in cabinetry and storage solutions. Both follow the same process and are delivered as a digital concept design document.

Which rooms suit each package?
The Design Concept works for any room. The Joinery Concept is best for spaces where cabinetry is central — kitchens, utility rooms, walk-in wardrobes, home offices, and similar. Not sure? Note it in your brief and we’ll focus the concept accordingly.

What if I have an open-plan space?
We design one room at a time. For large open-plan spaces with multiple areas (for example, a kitchen, dining area, and living area), we would typically design for one section per order. If you’d like multiple areas to be designed cohesively, let us know in the booking form and we’ll coordinate the briefs.

Can I combine rooms into one order?
Each concept covers a single room or area. For multiple rooms, place a separate order for each. If you want them to work together as a scheme, mention it in your booking forms and we’ll design them as a whole.

How is this different from hiring a traditional interior designer?
A traditional interior designer typically works with you over weeks or months — attending meetings, producing detailed technical drawings, sourcing products, and managing your project from start to finish. That level of involvement is valuable, but it comes with a higher cost.

Our service focuses on the creative starting point: we give you the vision, inspiration, and design direction so you can move forward on your own terms rather than a full project management service. It’s a different offering, not a lesser one — and the streamlined approach is what keeps it affordable and fast.

Where do I need to be located?
Our service is entirely online, so it works from anywhere. You submit photos and a brief, and we deliver your concept digitally. The design direction, visuals, and recommendations work regardless of where you're based.

Are the concept visuals realistic?
Our concept visuals are artistic interpretations of your space. They’re designed to communicate mood, style, colour, and spatial ideas. They are not photorealistic renders, technical drawings, or dimensionally precise representations. Think of them as a personalised vision applied to your actual room. The colours, textures, materials, and proportions shown are indicative; actual products and finishes may differ.

Can I use the visuals to brief a builder or decorator?
Yes — many clients do. They’re excellent for communicating the aesthetic and mood you’re aiming for. However, they’re not construction-ready drawings and shouldn’t be used as technical plans. If you’re planning structural or construction work, you’ll need a qualified professional for the technical plans.

What’s not included?
Technical drawings, measurements, floor plans, supplier sourcing, project management, building regulations advice, structural assessments, electrical planning, follow-up consultations, meetings, phone calls, or revisions. Full details are on Our Process page and in our Terms and Conditions.

The Process

How long does it take?
The whole process typically takes about a week from the point we receive your completed brief and payment. Delivery times are stated on our website and may vary depending on demand. Delays can occur during busy periods and if there is likely to be a delay over the estimated time frame, we will email you to let you know as soon as possible.

What if my photos aren’t good enough?
We’ve created a detailed Photo Guide on our website that walks you through how to capture your room clearly. If the photos you submit aren’t quite right, we’ll let you know before we start and give you the chance to retake them.
How do I choose inspiration images?
Your inspiration images help us understand your taste and the mood you’re after. They don’t need to match your room or even each other perfectly — we’re looking for themes and patterns across what you choose.

These might be whole rooms, colour palettes, furniture pieces, textures, or even images that aren’t room-specific but capture a feeling you’re drawn to. If you’re not sure where to start, browse our Inspiration Gallery for ideas.
Do I need to know exactly what I want?
Not at all. Many clients come to us knowing they want a change but not the direction— and that’s completely fine. The clearer your brief, the more tailored the result, but we’re very comfortable working with open-ended briefs too.

If you're starting from scratch, browse our Inspiration Gallery — even a handful of images that catch your eye gives us enough to work with.

Can you work around furniture or features I want to keep?
Of course. If there’s something important you want to retain or for us to work around — a piece of furniture, an architectural feature, a specific colour — just let us know in the booking form. We’ll take it into account when creating your concept.

Pricing and Payment
How much does it cost?
£[XX] per room. The price includes everything in the package outlined in Our Process. No hidden costs.

How do I pay?
Securely online at the time of order. Payments are processed by Stripe through our Wix platform.
Why do I pay upfront?
Each concept is bespoke and created individually for you, so we require payment to begin work. This allows us to begin work on your design straight away, which is how we’re able to deliver within about a week. It’s also what keeps the service simple and the price low: there’s no quoting process, no invoicing back and forth, and no hourly billing. You know exactly what you’re paying and what you’ll receive before you order.

Can I order concepts for more than one room?
Yes. Each room is treated as a separate order, so simply place an order for each one. Each concept is created individually. If you’d like multiple rooms to feel cohesive, let us know in your booking forms and we’ll coordinate the designs.

After You Order

Can I request changes to my concept?
Our standard service does not include revisions. We put our expertise into getting it right the first time, using everything you share with us in your brief. The streamlined, single-concept approach is the trade-off for the lower price and faster turnaround. If you believe the delivered concept does not reasonably reflect the brief you submitted, or if there is a clear error, please contact us and we’ll review it fairly. Full details are in our Terms and Conditions.
What if I’m not happy with the design?
Design is subjective, and we understand that not every concept will land exactly as you imagined. Because each concept is bespoke, we’re unable to offer refunds based on personal taste or aesthetic preference. However, if you have a genuine quality concern — for example, the concept doesn’t reasonably reflect your brief or there is a clear error — please contact us. We take genuine concerns seriously and will handle them fairly on a case-by-case basis. Full details are in our Terms and Conditions.
Can I get a refund?
If you cancel within 14 days of your order confirmation and we have not yet started work, you are entitled to a full refund. If work has begun, a proportionate charge may apply for work already completed. Once your concept has been delivered, refunds are not available for change of mind or subjective dissatisfaction with aesthetic choices. Full details are in our Terms and Conditions.

What do I do after I receive my concept?
That's entirely up to you — and that's the beauty of it. Some clients use the concept to guide their own furniture and colour choices. Others share it with a decorator, builder, or interior designer to help brief them as part of a wider renovation. Some use it as inspiration for a gradual transformation over time. And for some, it's simply about exploring what's possible — there's no obligation to take it further. Your concept document includes a Next Steps Guide with practical suggestions for however you choose to approach it.
Can I share the visuals on social media?
We'd love you to share! All concept visuals include a small watermark, so feel free to post them — we just ask that you tag us and help spread the word.

Do you offer follow-up services?
Our core offering is the concept design document. We don’t currently offer follow-up services such as extended consultations, project management, or detailed technical drawings. If this changes in the future, we’ll update our website. In the meantime, your concept can be a valuable starting point if you choose to engage another design professional for the next stage.
